Element: Deliver rail traffic crew briefing
  • Qualified worker is selected and tasked according to circumstances and given appropriate equipment and authority to act in accordance with workplace procedures, rail movement plan, system of safeworking and codes of practice
       
Element: Purpose of rail movement, track works, speed restrictions, signal locations, wayside equipment, station locations and other aspects that may affect operation of rail traffic are identified in accordance with workplace procedures, rail movement plan, system of safeworking and codes of practice
       
Element: Rolling stock capacity and consist are determined and considered during the rail movement
       
Element: Purpose of briefing is conveyed to rail traffic crew
       
Element: Information is presented in accordance with rail movement plan and workplace procedures

Assessment Tasks
